[interviewee's note: The Street Rat Liberation Font [pun intended] traveled halfway around the world to participate in a neoist apartment festival that we were pretty sure wasn't going to exist. When we arrived we were reluctantly allowed to sleep on the living room floor of the house where the disorganizer, Karen Eliot, lived - somewhat unethusiastically received by roommates who had no idea how monumentally historic our presence there was.
Despite this unfortuitous beginning, Karen did manage to get some sort of neoist ball rolling & we met Roman of the Environments program on 3D Radio & as one of our 1st interventions into Australian culture presented ourselves in its context. Radio in Australia is much more politically open than it is in the US. - September 6, 2014E.V. note from tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE]
