The Lab Rats Explain Their Veggie-Oil Powered Van
- Woomera, Australia - April, 2000
In 2000, etta cetera & I made our way into the outback of Australia w/ the assistance of the "Lab Rats" - a daring duo of alternative energy activists whose van was veggie oil powered & who had a sound system that was solar powered that they used at activist events. We stopped at a dump at Woomera (a US military town where people drove on the right side of the road instead of on the left as it is elsewhere in Aus) to refuel. This involved heating & filtering the discarded veggie oil. This movie was mainly made there as a "How to" instructional. - February 19, 2010 notes from tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE
[Some of the interviews I've conducted have been audio recorded & transcribed for print. Others have been video recorded & incorporated into a movie &/or been uploaded to my "onesownthoughts" YouTube channel. It seems appropriate to make a link to these latter also available through these "Interviewer" & "Interviewee" webpages. Clicking on the interview title should link to the YouTube movie. - August 25, 2014 note from tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE]
