1985.04 SMILE 2 - Minden, West Germany - Joki Mailart (Jo Klaffki)
Joki Mailart's SMILEs were the 1st ones that I know of to be made by someone other than Stewart Home. Joki's SMILE was an art magazine, with an emphasis on Mail Art, & not a Neoist one. This was the 2nd publication to print my explanation of Monty Cantsin & SMILE / call for contributions to the proposed Transparent SMILE assembling. Joki apparently had Peter Küstermann translate the proposal into German. This was probably the most widely distributed of the reprintings of my proposal.
