1992 SMILE MACHINE - BalTimOre, USA - Turner Scientific (Dick Turner)
I don't think Dick considers his SMILE MACHINE to be in any way a part of the SMILE magazine project. Nonetheless, I include here, hopefully with Dick's forgiveness, because his SMILE MACHINE was created while SMILE magazines were still being produced hot & heavy (mostly by Florian Cramer) & because some of the people who 'modeled' the SMILE MACHINE were Neoists (notably John Berndt & myself (tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE)).
In 2010, I published a 2-cassette retrospective of Dick Turner's music in a limited edition of 26 (#027 here: http://idioideo.pleintekst.nl/WdmUCatalog.html ). The last 3 images shows some of the packaging of that - including some that feature the SMILE MACHINE.
