intro note: "Don't Walk Backwards" is the longest movie I've ever made. It's 8:24:43. I had an offer once to screen it at the Brew House in Pittsburgh. I declined - saying that I wanted to edit it down to a shorter version 1st. I doubt that I'll ever do that since I'm too involved w/ current projects to revisit the old ones very often. As such, IT MAY NEVER BE SCREENED. Various snippets from it are screened as separate short pieces from time-to-time. There's plenty of great stuff in this &, even in its rough edit, it's probably worth screening at least ONCE. Providing these rough edit notes may intrigue someone. This was made at a time when I was still shooting & editing VHS w/ the latter done from home-VCR to home-VCR - ie: very primitively. It's what I cd afford, therefore, it's what I did. The results are far more sophisticated than the naive & ignorant might expect. ALSO, the original formatting didn't get recreated when I dumped this text into this program. I started to go thru it all to recreate it manually but then got too bored & decided I have better things to do so I stopped. I doubt that anyone will ever read this ANYWAY so it's probably a waste of time for me to work on it any further. Maybe someday.
