1986: "It's Not A Matter Of Life & Death": Crossed Bones
The 2nd part of my initial trilogy of tattoos collectively entitled "It's Not A Matter Of Life & Death" that began with DNA & ended with 3D Brain was these cross-bones done by tattooist Juli Moon again. Instead of having the conventional skull & cross-bones presented in such a way that it didn't refer to my actual body, I chose to have the bones represented approximately life-size on my chest as if my actual forearms were folded across it. That way, my real skull, inside my head, rather than an image of one, would be called attention to as the thing completing the image.
