This is the front cover. Because my butt crack & cheeks show there's bound to be some disapproval/censorship. I made an 8 second movie of me moving around multiple copies of the book & saying "But, but, but, but.." - perhaps as if I were stammering or sputtering. This was not permitted on TikTok as a violation of their "Community Guidelines". No doubt an algorithm was flexing its AU (Artifical Unintelligence) muscles to make that decision. SO, if you're seeing this cover now, be warned, you will probably go criminally insane & become permanently traumatized by seeing the crack. Or, at least, so the algorithms would have you believe.

This is my 19th bk. Thanks to the way Goodreads (Amazon) algorithmically insists on a standardized presenting of my name this will not show up on my profile since my name is "tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE" & NOT "Convenience, Tentatively". Hence I have 15 books on my profile, 4 are missing - but who am I to say what my name is? I'm not a billionaire or an app. The cover seems to be censored off of Goodreads. This is completely reasonable b/c if you were to see it you'd go criminally insane & become hopelessly traumatized. Algorithms, do yr stuff!! For the bio text connected to the ISBN I wrote:
"tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE was born on September 4, 1953, & has no intention of dying before tomorrow if not later. He's created 730 movies, 230 of which are features; 19 books with more on the way, over 450 things vaguely resembling performances, over 250 d compositions, & all sorts of other things that are hopefully outside of easy categories. He's traveled all over the world, except for one square meter in some desert somewhere - or maybe a little less. Still, he's gotten around. He was voted "Earth's Most Eligible Bachelor" by extraterrestrials who apparently weren't even sure how humans reproduce so I, personally, wouldn't trust their choice - but the cover hologram for their Galactic Guide to Dating featured cONVENIENCE in an amazing pose so they did a good job with that."
For the online bk description I wrote:
"A look at creations made from 1969 to 2023 by a person who's dedicated their life to trying to live in accordance with their own imagination (& conscience). The images may not be what you expect, if you expect anything. Imagine starting with the name "tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE", wearing clothes made entirely from zippers, getting a 3D brain tattooed on your head & then extrapolate from there."
This represents quite a selection. There's a section on Olfactories Organized, the group that I founded for the purpose of collectively smelling things; a photo essay on my washing & drying my zipper pants & jacket for the 1st time on my 36th birthday; a tribute to Larry Lawnchair; a picture of 2 friends of mine trying to dye their skin black in a bathtub; stills from a movie called "Wearing Masks Saves Lives"; all sorts of goodies.
Once you buy & read a copy you'll understand how irresistably charming I am - even if you find some of my opinions & actions offensive.
